Mrs. Lackey

Mrs. Lackey was voted Most Inspirational Teacher of the Year for 2009 by the students of Don Antonio Lugo High School. Mrs. Lackey has taught at Don Lugo’s campus for some time. She is known for the countless number of young men (and women) that she has helped raise during her time here. As she would say, she has many sons. This year, her son is a graduating member of the Class of 2009. Congratulations Mrs. Lackey! You are an inspiration to our students!

Ms. Tillett

Ms. Tillett was voted Most Inspirational Teacher by the students of Don Lugo for the month of January. Ms. Tillet’s students often say of her that she cares about them. She inspires her students to stay on the road to graduation. Congratulations Ms. Tillett! 

Most Inspirational Teacher of the Month is organized by Don Lugo’s Renaissance Leadership program under the direction of Guy E. White. Student leaders create a blank ballot that is passed out monthly to over 1000 students. The ballot asks students to nominate the teacher that inspires them the most.
